Today it feels like it's 70 degrees outside. It's soooooo nice! The weather seems to be the spark that is bringing this place back to life. We were all frozen in the winter, now that our skin is thawing we're beginning to move again and become active (and happy). Already the terrible winter mood and attitude is starting to melt away. So of course I’m going to take this opportunity to go outside and read in the sun. “The Sun also Rises”, I think will be quite appropriate. Hemingway has always been my man, his themes and delivery just seem more interesting now that I’m in an academic atmosphere.
I need summer clothes again. My wardrobe gets additions twice a year, Christmas and springtime. I have to get ready for the beach this summer! Hopefully I’ll be surfing, smoking, drinking, partying, banding, bonding and relaxing all summer. I may even throw in a painting or two, who knows?
