I don't even know what I'm going to talk about here. I should be working on my short story for tomorrow.

Maybe I'll post something a little old but still relevant.

One day, the sun didn't rise
Much to our surprise.

We all waited and waited all night
We waited for our sky to light but
The sun never came

My daddy tried to make the sun rise
He begged the sun but that didn't work
He yelled at the sun but that didn't work either
He tried and tried and tried

Finally, a light in the sky! What do I see
with my little eye? The sun?
No, just the moon.

The neighborhood wanted the sun
The entire city wanted the sun
The whole world! wanted the sun back

Without it, life wasn't much fun

One night everybody just gave up

No more begging
No more crying
No more sorrow

Maybe the sun will rise again tomorrow.

aw, this is a cute poem. I love how it rhymes- I can never make mine do that.
