Mean Everything to Nothing—Album Review

everythingtonothing

Manchester Orchestra is bringing back authenticity in the Nickelback era.  Thank fucking god.  Mean Everything to Nothing is the Georgian 5somes second studio album and it’s everything indie rock fans want, an album with heart.  Andy Hull, the band’s vocalist and guitar player purges his demons on every track, spilling his guts in ways nobody has seen since Kurt Cobain.

The meat of the album comes from a confessional theme that permeates through its eleven official tracks (and one hidden track).  The Only One, the first track, gets the lost and emotional ball rolling with the line “I am the only one that thinks I’m going crazy/ I don’t know what to do”.
